Unified Fall Giving Campaign
This fall, Hawes Hawks are taking flight through one unified giving campaign, combining our annual Direct Donation Drive and Fun Run to support the programs, experiences, and opportunities that help every student soar.

Get ready for the Hawes Hawks Take Flight Fun Run, where our students will spread their wings, show their school spirit, and help launch our annual giving campaign. Every lap and every donation helps our Hawks soar higher while supporting the enrichment programs, events, and experiences that benefit every student at Hawes.

DIRECT DONATION
Direct Donation provides the greatest impact for our students by supporting field trips, classroom supplies, art enrichment, assemblies, school improvements, and so much more. Every gift—large or small—helps ensure that Hawes continues to provide a Hawesome experience for every Hawk.

Reflections Contest
“What My Culture Means to Me!"
Deadline: Monday, October 19
That’s the theme for the 2026-27 Reflections Art Program, which has been bringing the arts to life for more than 10 million students since 1969. California State PTA and its members, families and kids are on the forefront of this amazing program, which increases community awareness of the importance of arts in education.
Reflections encourages students of all ages to:
- Unleash creative talents and be inspired
- Express themselves imaginatively in their artwork
- Experience the fun and joy of making art
- Tap into critical thinking skills to create art inspired by the annual theme
- Receive positive recognition for their original works of art.
HAWKTOBERFEST
Join us on Thursday, October 15 from 3:30–6:00 PM for an afternoon of fun, games, and community spirit!
Admission:
- Ages 3-16: $25; $30 at the gate on event day
- Adults and Children 2 and Under: FREE
- Includes unlimited access to Inflatables, Rock Climbing Wall, Carnival Games, Game Truck, Tiny Tot Train, Popcorn, Cotton Candy, Photo Booth, Trunk-or-Treat
Costumes encouraged (no masks, please).
